What I learn about men each day

My life in a coffee shop. May interactions and dealings with customers every day. Mostly about men because they are so memorable. For women to read because we will see these traits in all of our men.

Friends

Well, hello again.
I have been out of words for awhile. Boyfriend is gone for a few months and I am homesick for my family and friends in California. It is getting hot in Florida and I am depressed! I hate where I live! I 'm lonely!
Work, however is going great. I have never been happier with a job.
That leads me to my question.

Why can't one's life been great all around? Why do the personal or professional sides not match up. Let's get on the same page with our lives and be happy with everything and not just a portion of it.
Does anyone have the same problems? Please tell me I am not alone!

Well- this leads me to the thought that I want a navel ring..... and a new tattoo.
Maybe when I get back to California in a few weeks.
My friends , what do you think? Yes..... no???

Help me with an answer please.

SNAKES!!!!!!!!

I had to kill a snake today. NO NO , not one of my customers.
I came home from work today and the cats had cornered a snake under the fridge.
I tried to sweep it out of the house but it just wasn't cooperating.

So I killed it with my boyfriends ice hockey stick! I figured it had brought him many years of luck on the ice, now it was time to put it to use again.

Well, it was a wiggly thing and I had a lot of remorse but I figured I wouldn't be able to sleep tonight, unless it was gone.
I am hoping I don't dream of Samuel L Jackson tonight. And I definitely won't be renting Snakes on a Plane anytime soon!

Florida is hard to get used to guys. I am having difficulty dealing with it all.
Any advice for Coco???

Sweet dreams

Smoke everywhere

I feel as though I have returned to California. Fires, smoke and ash everywhere. I often joke that natural disasters follow me around.
Floods, earthquakes ,fires, riots I have pretty much seen it all living in various parts of California.
Now customers and friends want to know if earthquakes will follow to Florida? I always think of that great Johnny Cash song "Ring of Fire".

"NO" I tell the Floridans, the ring of fire is only in the Pacific and not the Gulf or Atlantic.

We will see what happens during hurricane season. Maybe I will be adding another disaster to my files. Also how customers react with coffee.
Will closed roads and rain and flooding stop the hunt for a LATTE?

In response to a comment, Yes there are plenty of rednecks here. Does any one know where that term comes from?
Have a grand day

Welcome back Coco

Hello all.
Let's talk coffee.
My new store reminds me very much of what I left in California.
Not so many surfers but lots of rednecks, it is Florida.
Lets just say I am looking for Jeff Foxworthy to walk in at any moment!
Seriously, I love my new partners. They have been looted.
There is a new store opening in the area and some of these partners have been recruited to the new store. I have stepped into a mini mutiny involving the old manager.
It is my job to make things right for my new crew. They are all hard working upbeat people and great to work with.
Lots of turmoil and questions for me.
I LOVE IT!!!
I am constantly putting out fires and solving problems.
Yesterday the faucet on the sink broke resulting in Old Faithful at rush hour.
Who do they turn to? ME.
I have pretty much seen all, so it didn't even phase me.
Come on guys give me something hard, I said!

Florida is hot and muggy.
My boyfriend/fiance has gone North for the summer to work. I am going to enjoy the time by myself and concentrate on my job. Occasionally visiting with him.

I have lots to blog about.

I saw my 1st SWEATY money the other day.
Yes- a bike rider. Hot, muggy weather does lead to EXTRA SWEATY money!!! EEW, GROSS\\

Catch ya later y'all
