What I learn about men each day

My life in a coffee shop. May interactions and dealings with customers every day. Mostly about men because they are so memorable. For women to read because we will see these traits in all of our men.

Back On-line

I really hate internet probs. My internet was down for 5 days . Today I had to wait from 8am to 8pm at my home so the internet cableguy could look at the equipment. HaHa loved that Cable Guy movie! The problem he thought was the modem and fixed us right up and now we are all happy.
What are some of your repairman horror stories?
Glad to be back

Exile Island

Any Survivor watchers out there?

We played a game at the coffee shop today. Which customers would you send to Exile Island?

In Survivor you get voted there by your teammates. In our Coffeeshop Survivor ,The barista gets to vote you there.

Well- lets say that there were many customers that got voted out today to Exile Island.

They were crabby, rude, know-it alls, those were the men. The women had fake boobs, teased hair and chewed wads of gum and talked on their "pink razor" phones about their weekend plans.

Then there were the kids! So many of them.

So in your real life who would you send to Exile Island? Family, co-workers, your boss or maybe the guy on the freeway?
Let us know.

Leave your pets at home please

Ok here is my public service annoncement. LEAVE YOUR PETS AT HOME DO NOT TAKE THEM TO THE COFFEE SHOP!

A woman came in today and was in a very big hurry for her soy beverage. She was impatient waiting in a small line to order her drink. While waiting for me to make her drink she asked me if I could hurry because she "left her Cat in the car". She proceeded to tell me it was very hot outside and also how hot it was for her cat in the car. She then asked how long it takes to steam milk and to do it quickly so she could get to her cat.
After making her tasty beverage she than said "oh good, now my cat will be happy I am finished". What I really wanted to say was "maybe your cat would be happy if you left it at home instead of your death trap of a car! I really wanted to take her license # and call Animal Protection. She got away too fast.
What do you readers think.?Leave pets at home or not????
I myself have 2 cats so I am an animal lover.
Have a good day

Hair Coloring?

There seems to be a trend among men to Color their hair? What do we think of this?
Sometimes I think men should go bald instead of getting an unatural hair color.

Then there are the "surfers". The pseudo surfers who bleach their hair but somehow seem, to never get themselves in the ocean. It is just a look, a fashion statement.

I am seeing a bunch of older men who insist on the Donald Trump "comb-over".
Then there are the toupee wearers. I actually had one these "toupee" guys hit on me the other day. I politely suggested that he "lose the rug" and maybe get a Corvette and then he would have more of a chance with women. Maybe drop a few coins in the tip jar as well?

You know most drivers of expensive sporty cars are bald and in their 50's. Middle age crisis.

My middle age crisis was a tattoo. I won't tell you where. You'll have to guess.
Have a good Monday

Coffee Talk

I often like to ask people this question.

IF YOU WERE TO HAVE COFFEE WITH SOMEONE DEAD OR ALIVE, WHO WOULD IT BE?

I get some really interesting and inciteful answers.
I would like to have coffee and talk to Johnny Cash.
I think after viewing the movie of his life that he would be really interesting to talk to. He lived through so much and made the most of his talents through much adversity. I want to know what motivated him and I'd have lots of questions for him about his world growing up.
I just loved Walk the Line.

What do my readers say? Let me hear who you would have coffee with.
Someone religious, political , a world leader, Jesus or maybe a relative?
Have a great Friday
