I'm Back

Well, I'm home from California.
Don't have time tonight to talk but will tomorrow.
Gotta love that weather in Southern Cal.

Cali bound

Well- I am flying to California tomorrow.
Bittersweet. You can never really go home.

I an happy to see old friends but know it isn't home any longer.
Familiar with the area, but have a new area I am becoming familiar with.
Have old friends , but have new friends as well.

I'll let you all know how it went and what;s up at Starbucks in California.

Bye Bye???

I'm deep in thought.
I am thinking about packing my car and driving out of town as far as a tank of gas will take me and starting over all alone!
Sometimes life is so overwhelming, I can totally understand why people just walk away from their lives and are never heard from again.
It sounds like a great plan to me right now.
To have no responsibilities but for myself would be a relief.
Anyone done this??
Let me know where some good spots are to travel.

June 1st

Well do you know what June 1st is?

The beginning of hurricane season.
Now that I live in Florida I guess I have to prepare for this.
It wasn't enough that I had to prepare for earthquakes in California.
Now it is hurricanes.
So... I have gotten every magazine and booklet and have figured out that I need , surprise, just what I need for an earthquake!

It hasn't rained here since I got here in March.
Lo and behold on June 1st today a storm developed in the Gulf of Mexico.
It is raining now and I have nothing prepared except candles and matches and some cat food.
The cats really don't care what the weather or natural disaster , as long as they have food and a window to look out upon their domain. Sounds like a great life!!!

Well, I will finally get a lazy Saturday in bed in the rain.
No schlepping coffee for me tomorrow.
Since I am the boss now I gave me the day off!
